Last month, the Tingalpa Makeables team had the pleasure of welcoming staff members from NAB Bank for a rewarding Corporate Volunteering Day.
This event was a remarkable blend of teamwork, community service, and shared enthusiasm, showcasing the positive impact of corporate engagement.
The NAB Bank team, including members from the lending and quality departments, travelled from as far as Port Macquarie to participate in this special day. For many, it was the first opportunity to meet face-to-face, making the event even more significant.
Throughout the day, NAB employees worked alongside Makeables team members, engaging in light packing duties while sharing engaging conversations. This interaction not only contributed to the smooth running of operations but also fostered a sense of camaraderie and mutual respect.
In addition to their hands-on work, NAB Bank generously provided pizza and Subway for everyone on site, adding to the festive and collaborative atmosphere of the day.
Kate Hanson, Multicap’s Talent Pathways Specialist, expressed her enthusiasm about the event.
“Corporate Volunteering is a fantastic team-building opportunity, a meaningful way to give back to the community, and an overall feel-good activity,” she said.
“It’s a wonderful way for organisations and individuals to work alongside our supported employees in a fun and rewarding environment.”
