Edwina and Max
Edwina and Max were among 11 course participants to celebrate their graduation in mid-December 2021, thanks to work-based training delivered by Multicap.
Sue
Sue proudly graduated with a Certificate III in Individual Support in December 2021, overcoming medical challenges to not only complete the course but land her first job in the disability sector.
Valon
Valon’s passion and determination as a Disability Support Worker was recognised at Multicap’s annual Staff Excellence Awards in November 2021.
Valon won the Most Outstanding Disability Support Worker Award for his remarkable support.
Albira
Albira is following in his mums’ footsteps by gaining work at Multicap after graduating with a Certificate III in Individual Support as part of Multicap’s Skilling Queenslanders for Work program.
Nena
Completion of a Certificate III through vocational study has assisted Nena to achieve her financial goals. As a Multicap employee, Nena enjoys coming to work, experiencing something new each day, and supporting people with disabilities.
Shiralee
Shiralee's dedication in obtaining her Certificate III in Individual Support has been second-to-none. After overcoming numerous barriers to gain the qualification and permanent employment, she has been nominated for a state-level training award.
Solia
After completing his Certificate III, Solia is now happily employed in the disability sector as a Disability Support Worker after being supported and encouraged to achieve skills he would never have thought possible.
Jody
After graduating from the Queensland Government’s Skilling Queenslanders for Work program, Jody secured employed as a Disability Support Worker at Multicap’s Eight Mile Plains Hub.
Chantel
Chantel fondly reflects on the program and is grateful for the opportunity to learn more. Chanel completed her work experience at the Mt Ommaney Hub and thoroughly enjoyed working and supporting customers in community activities across Brisbane.

Bosco had been out of work for ten years when a friend referred him to the Queensland Government-funded Skilling Queenslanders for Work ) scheme, where he undertook a Certificate III in Individual Support at Multicap.
