Multicap is privileged and very grateful to have had each Governor of Queensland be its Patron since 1972. A former chief justice of Queensland, The Honourable Paul de Jersey AC CVO had been Queensland's Governor and Patron of Multicap since July 2014, until Her Excellency Dr Young’s appointment.

Multicap’s extensive range of services are designed to meet the needs of people of all ages, abilities and goals – with a particular focus on high and complex support needs.

In the last financial year, Multicap provided almost 2.5 million hours of support and travelled almost 1.2 million kilometres when supporting its customers.

The Governor of Queensland’s patronage will help raise the profile of Multicap in its work to push the boundaries of what is possible in enhancing the lives of people living with disability.
