It may just have been a week, but unforgettable memories were created at ‘Ladies Week Away’ for a group of ladies at Multicap’s Short Term Accommodation in Mt Ommaney.
Service Manager Emina Suljic said the five Multicap customers attended ‘Ladies Week Away’ earlier this year and they’re still talking about it.
“The ladies had the best time; we all did,” Emina said. “They not only had a lot of fun but developed friendships, built confidence, and tried new things.
“They’ve all asked for another week away.”
Multicap customer, Julia is already planning to attend the next ‘Ladies Week Away’
“I liked everything about the ladies week away,” Julia said. “The only activity that I didn’t get to try, was to taste the camel milk and I think next time I would like to try it.
“My brother is going to book me in for another ladies week away and I can’t wait until he does so that I have something to be excited about,” she said.
Emina said it was wonderful to see customers coming out of their shell and immersing themselves in some of the experiences, such as belly dancing.
“Definitely the belly dancing was a highlight,” Emina said.
While the ladies stayed at the Multicap’s Mount Ommaney STA for the week, they travelled far and wide to Tamborine Mountain, Summerland and Brisbane’s Southbank.
Throughout the week away, ladies had ‘Happy Hour’ with mocktails, beauty night for manicures and pedicures, a trip to the Summerland Camel farm and Friday night markets and dinner at Southbank.
“It was such a great week for everyone. We’re definitely keen to hold ‘ladies week’ again,’ Emina said.
