Weekend Kids Club

Our Weekend Kids Club offers a fun, engaging, and safe place for young people with disability under 18 years old to spend time during the weekend.

The Weekend Kids Club allows school-aged children to enjoy a thrilling day out at a theme park, develop gardening skills, have fun hunting for treasure, explore space or be a superhero for a day. We offer a program of activities designed to gain independence, learn new skills, be creative, feel safe, supported, and best of all, make new friends.

When is it available?

The Weekend Kids Club is available every second Saturday at our Eight Mile Plains and Aspley hubs and will offer new activities and experiences for all children attending, including the choice of an excursion.

Weekend Kids Club hours run from 9 am - 5 pm.

How much does it cost?

Costs for supports provided are generally claimed through NDIS funding. In addition to the support costs, there is a small out-of-pocket fee charged for each day for incursions, and costs for excursions will vary depending on the outing.

If you wish to pay out of pocket for the support costs, this can be arranged, please contact our team directly for a quote.

What training do staff have?

Our team of experienced, fully qualified Support Workers have current Medication Administration Training, Advanced First Aid and CPR, and Blue and Yellow Cards.

How to book in

It is a requirement that a booking form must be completed. This ensures we have NDIS details, support requirements and authorised collection sign off.
